Nice hubs but ... April 21, 2012

They wont take Campy 11 speed without modification. The big cog will rub against the spoke elbows. You have to shim the freehub out ~0.75 mm and if you do it's advisable to put a thin plastic spacer to stop the pawls moving over into that 0.75 space.
Otherwise nice light, free rolling and a bit noisy :)

I just got finished building a wheelset using this set of hubs. First, I have to say that Brandon at BikeHubStore knows customer service and fast shipping. He worked with me to ensure that I got the right spoke setup and got my shipments out right away (had the goods in 2 days).

Data hubs seem great. I've got them on a set of H+ 42mm rims, CX-Ray spokes. Aside from being light, the rear hub sounds awesome! Over 50 teeth, sounds close to Chris King. I was looking for a noisy hub the slow pokes and pedestrians can hear me coming.

At speed, with the whistle of the bladed spokes, it sounds like a jet engine. Very impressed. From what I've read elsewhere, the DATIs hold up really well too. Thanks Brandon.
